Early this morning, a gunman opened fire at a GOP baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, injuring several people including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA). Following the shooting, there was a rush to blame liberal rhetoric. Meanwhile, the House canceled a GOP-led hearing on deregulation of gun silencers.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions appeared Tuesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee and it went…poorly. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) accused Sessions of impeding the committee’s investigation, while Republicans rushed to interrupt Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA). The RNC also defended Sessions by insulting everyone’s intelligence.
