Serves: 12 (makes 12 slices)
Time to make: 50 mins (Hands-on time: 10 mins, Cooking time: 40 mins)

150g reduced-fat spread
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups porridge oats
1/4 cup shredded coconut
3 tablespoons sliced almonds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup sultanas
150g apple sauce

Step 1 Preheat oven to 180ºC. Lightly grease a 24x16cm baking tin.

Step 2 Melt spread and honey in a pan over a low heat, then add vanilla. Set aside to cool.

Step 3 Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add liquid mixture and apple sauce. Mix until dry ingredients are coated well. Press mixture into baking dish.

Step 4 Bake for 40 minutes or until starting to turn golden. Cool well then cut in slices. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze sliced portions.
