Nest today unveiled three new products: the Nest Cam IQ Outdoor camera with facial recognition, the Nest Hello doorbell, and the Nest Secure home security system. The news was announced during a press conference held at the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco.

A new smart lock is also scheduled for release next year. No price has been set. In updates to existing devices, Nest Cam IQ, which was first released earlier this year, will be able to speak withGoogle Assistant as part of a software update on the way this winter.

Nest Secure is actually a series of products that interact with each other, like Nest Guard, a keypad with motion sensor placed near the home entryway for arming and disarming the system with a password, a small security fob called Nest Tag, or the Nest app. There’s also the Nest Detect sensor with a light inside that you place at doors or entryways. Nest Secure, which comes with two Nest Detect sensors, two Nest Tags, and Nest Secure, will be available in November for $499.

Nest Detect sensors at each door can be disarmed silently if you want to leave the home without disabling the entire alarm system or setting off an alarm. When the security alarm is triggered, the Nest app activates and sends information about the intrusion or streams video of a Nest Cam.

Nest Cam IQ Outdoor, like Nest Cam IQ, will come with facial recognition powered by the Google Cloud (Nest was acquired by Google in 2014). The camera can recognize a person from 50 feet away, and like the indoor IQ, comes with a speaker so you can tell potential intruders to leave. The camera is available for pre-order today for $349 in U.S. and Canada, and will ship in November in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Nest Cam IQ Outdoor will also utilize computer vision powered features like Sightline, which identifies significant events captured by Nest camera, and Person Alert for recognizing specific people like a friend or family member.

Finally, the Nest Hello doorbell comes equipped with a speaker, microphone, and HD camera that can show video in both 4:3 and 16:9 ratios. High dynamic range (HDR) imagery is also available. Nest Hello will be available in the first quarter of 2018. No price has been set for the new product.

Nest Hello also comes with a Quick Response feature that allows you to deliver pre-recorded messages for moments when you’re unable to talk, and Nap Time, a do-not-disturb feature.

The new devices add to Nest’s existing line of products made up of security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and thermostats for smart homes. In addition to products launched today, since July 2016 the company launched three other new products — Nest Cam Outdoor, Nest Cam IQ, and Nest Thermostat E.
